My academic journey is informed by over two decades of experience in the international development sector in Pakistan and corporate leadership roles in Canada and France. Drawing from this diverse background, on the one end I research resistance and modes of activism, and on the other I explore how education and technology can drive equity, foster systemic change, and empower individuals and communities. My work is grounded in a commitment to social justice, focusing on how innovative frameworks and interdisciplinary approaches can address inequalities, amplify voices, and create more inclusive systems for learning and development.

Three main beliefs guide my personal philosophy:
-
First, I believe in the inherent equality of all humans and living creatures, deserving of respect and dignity.
-
Second, I hold kindness and compassion as essential principles for navigating our shared world.
-
Third, I believe we each carry a profound responsibility—to ourselves, to others, and to the communities we inhabit. I am deeply committed to supporting marginalized groups in ways that uplift without imposing or "othering." I strive to approach this work without ego, rejecting savior narratives, and instead fostering solidarity, mutual respect, and meaningful, collaborative action.
